Thanks to three months of glorious sunshine, construction of Stage 1 of the Village is progressing very well.

Like all multi-storey buildings, major works were necessary before the basement floors could be poured. However, now that the extensive site preparation and foundation works are complete, the basements of the first two buildings have been concreted and formation of the ground floors is underway. Builders, McNab Constructions, are on schedule and confident for a June 2009 completion.

The Village will be developed in stages, with the first stage comprising two and three bedroom independent living units.

We plan to open a display unit by the end of this year – so keep tabs on construction progress over the coming months. Once the ground floors are poured, we expect the superstructure of each level to be erected every three weeks. You will be able to see the cranes on site from miles away!
